This month's meeting is sure to be a great learning experience as we get to pick the brain of Mr. Harold Beck...Dana's Dad, by the way. So we are likely to see where Dana got all his humph-whaa from. I'm looking forwarded to hearing about the smallmouth and trout fishing on Blue River. Just from the research I've done on 'Blue'.. heck I can't wait to fish it!! (I really think Harold has ulterior motives for coming over...being a grandpa, ya know. I know 'bout those thangs). Can't wait to see that broad smile again, Harold please have a good and safe trip to S'port!!

The July meeting! Wow!!! What a great meeting. Mr. Johnny McJunkins really had a wonderful presentation. After showing off his custom wading staff (Made by his good and long time friend David Chin) and fly rod, Johnny took off with more information than one could absorb at one time. Thanks Johnny, Thanks to the great crowd..pictures will be included in the next edition of the NLFF newsletter. All in all an absolutely wonderful presentation. If you ever get the chance to participate in one of The Trout Professor's seminars, please do so for your own sake.

Our next monthly meeting is March 18th. Our speaker will be Mr. Jeff Guerin from Murfreesboro, Arkansas.....by way of S'port city. The public is invited and there is no charge. Please, come be our guest and try to pry some of Jeff's secrets our of him. He will have a presentation and tie some flys. Meetings are held at YMCA Camp Forbing about a half mile south of Bert Kouns on Elerbee Rd. on the right and starts at 7:00 PM. See ya'll there!

What a great meeting with featured speaker Mr. Jeff Guerin! We got to see some of his favorite spots on the river...actually his very favorite spot and that's the same thing I would be saying, of course. He even demonstrated tying some of his feature flies and secret dubbing techniques. Thank you, Jeff we all enjoyed it very much.
Next month's speaker will be Mr. Gordon Shaw, more info on his presentation later.

Major speaker lined for the next NLFF meeting on Monday, April 20th. at 7PM. Mr. Pete Cooper will be there. He holds or has held several Louisiana state records in fly fishing and has been elected to the Louisiana Sportsman Hall of Fame. We have our meetings at YMCA Camp Forbing on Ellerbee Road, Shreveport, LA. Come be our guest. There is no charge for admission.
