Hello,
My name is Jim. I was a member several years ago but had to drop out because of family problems. My daughters husband was killed in a m/c wreck and she was two month pregnant. Two months later my father died. Needless to say I had a whole new set of priorities to take care of. Grand baby is in day care now and daughter is doing much better. Mom is doing great, well sort of. She fell on Christmas day at my house and broke her hip. See the problems I have had. Well things are going a bit smoother now. I joined the board to see what is happening in the area. I will also try to make a meeting as soon as I can and see some old friends.

Jim, I've not been a member long enough to be sure who you are, but I'm sure sorry about all the troubles you've been through. Sounds like you could use some time on some beautiful water somewhere, working a fly along some seam, down some riffle, or through some pocket. I sure hope you get the chance. Please be sure and check back in with us at the monthly meeting if you can. Otherwise, know that we're all thinking about you. All the best.

Hey Bryan'
Doesn't look like anyone is using the board much. I assume there are people at the meetings. LOL Where do you like to fish? I am probably going to the LMF next week if things work out. I have been there once. So this time I am taking my wife to look arround. We are going to see if there are places to take the grandson and play while I fish close by. Also see if there are places for her to wade where she will feel safe. She likes to fish but likes to feel safe too. That means very few snakes in the water. She was sitting on the bank on some rocks and just a few feet from her a copperhead snake came out from under a rock to sun. I had to do some good talking to get her off the rocks without letting her know a snake was about 5' from her. She was pretty upset when I showed her what she was sitting near. She doen't sit on the banks anymore unless she is on a chair. This happened at the Little Mo.
I have to run. Hope to talk to you later.
Jim

No, not too much use of this website, including me, I guess. But I predict that'll change. Glad you're going to LMF. Give us a report. I'm heading to NM and CO for a few weeks. I'll bring a report for this website when I get back. Peace to you all!
