My church granted me a 6 week sabbatical, and while I will take part in some unusual programs (including 2 weeks at the Center for Action and Contemplation at Albuquerque, NM founded by Franciscan Priest Richard Rohr), I'll be doing as much fly fishing as possible. I start with a trip on the South Llano river in the Hill Country of Texas, head for south CO to fish the Animas, Rio Grande, upper San Juan, Piedra and other rivers and creeks. Then to NM to fish the San Juan below the dam, the Chama, the Rio Grande, et al. I'll miss the program by Doug Pierrelee and I'm sorry since I thoroughly enjoyed his report last year of the trout and bears in the Yellowstone area. I'm taking my waterproof camera and laptop so maybe I'll have something to report when I get back. Which will be late October.
Peace.

Well, shoot! I just took a look at the hard copy of my newsletter to see that the monthly meeting is on the 15th , not the 16th, and that Jeff Guerin, not Doug Pierrelee will do the program. Maybe I'm only talking to myself on this message board! I've said before that this website is way out of date. I expect that to change, though. We need to be up to date on the internet. Y'all hang in there.
